Assassin's Creed Mirage

Loved Odyssey, the voice acting of Kassandra made it for me.

Also loved Valhalla but the female voice acting on that drove me mad.

Not really sure how I feel about who Basim really is tbh, it became apparent early on in Valhalla and I can't say it didn't annoy me.

TBH, I'll most likely play it but after seeing reviews and players' opinions. Origins had one of the most impressive gameworlds ever and the settings in these games are always superb. That's what draws me in specifically but the cookie-cutter repetition and shallow gameplay in Odyssey and Valhalla drove me nuts after a while.

Hearing that this supposedly goes back to its roots with a dense city location and focus on stealth and being an actual assassin, I'm somewhat interested.
They really need to focus on the gameplay formula and trim some excess fat here and there and it's going to work nicely.

As for the story, it became an utter comedy a good while ago so not getting my hopes up on that front, just hope it's not too intrusive.

I'm up for this, a combined playtime of over 500 hours for AC Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla. I'll easily, really easily, get 100 hours out of a new AC game. That good enough for me :)

Got lots of AC games free over the years, never got into them. Then I got Orgins free and decided to install it and got addicted. Ended up getting Odyssey then Valhalla. Will definitely get this one.

It looks better than I expected but I just can't see this being worth full price. I'm just sad that we're still so far away from a proper next-gen AC game as this just looks like more of the Origins formula & graphics.

Afaik it was supposed to be DLC for Valhalla at first but then they decided to expand it into a full fledged game given that the next big AC title is so far away, and they're not used to going without an AC release for so long.

@darkgen

AC is so stale, can't Ubisoft not come up with something different, go the Remedy route and interconnect a game into the AC universe or something. I mean surely they are bored making the same game over and over again.

Makes financial sense for them though, AC Valhalla was the biggest selling AC ever, it literally outsold every single previous AC title. That sort of sales return makes it a tough call to convince anyone to make changes.
