Queen Elizabeth II has passed away - keep posts civil and respectful

My new passport arrived today - it's that really dark blue (almost black) rather than Burgundy and I realised reading the text on the inside "Her Britannic Majesty's Secretary of State......" that this will likely be one of the last produced Elizabethan passports. Soon enough they will be printed with the Kings pronouns... just made me think a bit. :o

i heard on the radio they said you would have to queue overnight!!!

It should probably be gender neutral in 2022.
 
Just catching up on the service, there was a brief moment when God Save the King was being sung and Charles looked like he was genuinely about to break down, before he took a breath and regained his composure.

Cant imagine how horrible it must be for him to have to perform all these duties and maintain himself at the same time. I certainly couldnt.
 
My employer will close supermarkets on Monday. Plus given extra allocation for booking the day off.

Though a few exceptions but not affecting me.

I was planning to return to work on 19th.

Can relax now
