Well that sounds a bit desperate...Russian have been launching cruise missiles at dams in the Kherson region, they appear to be trying to flood the region and raise the river levels to stop the Ukranian advance
This thread really explains a lot of why Putin is only doing a soft mobilisation and why the propaganda channels give mixed messages
and recently Boris even travelled to Ukraine to scupper a peace deal.
Seems these people don't understand, when you have to put 1 of 25 on your tweet you're on the wrong platform. Twitter isn't for 25 chapter stories.
It's almost as bad as people upload text as images.
A quick search on that author isn't giving me any indications she is an expert on politics or military matters. Here's her Amazon book list: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Books-Caitlin-Johnstone/s?rh=n:266239,p_27:Caitlin+Johnstone

CaitOz - her twitter handle has previous history as being one of the least informed of all of the Russia stronk propagandists
Also now that I think about it all the complaints about western assistance may not entirely be due to Russian supremacist nonsense, they may genuinely believe that since commanders have been offering such 'success' that the only reason that in reality they've begun losing ground must be due to the NATO-boogeymans.
reading elsewhere; Melitopol is the next
something i read earlier today seems to sum up your position >>it's easier for someone who knows nothing about Putin's Russia to idolise it. back in the olden days it was easy for western Stalinists as well<<If Putin is as bad as you say, then how come he saved Syria from being destroyed by the US/UK/NATO alliance? They were hell-bent on turning Syria into another Libya. It's the British and American governments who don't want peace and recently Boris even travelled to Ukraine to scupper a peace deal. Meanwhile, the US/UK and NATO are only too happy to keep the war going and don't give a damn about how many innocent civilians die in this Ukrainian conflict. It's all about weakening Russia militarily and economically and they couldn't care less about those poor Ukrainian civilians.

top-down leadership in common parlance. One of the reason the likes of China probably wouldn't be as impressive in a war as the on paper numbers - like with Russia a lot of decisions run all the way up and down the chain of command with autonomous decision making at unit level discouraged, government/military leaders detached from the reality of what the lower level commanders are seeing, etc. and likewise the top level government often detached from the military leadership's reality, etc. etc.
The paranoia and desire to retain a tight grip on power at the top generally undoes the military effectiveness of regimes like this when fighting a peer foe fortunately (and if they attempted a more Western like command structure they'd quickly get replaced).
Strelkov (because he doesn't like the name 'Girkin' because of its western implications
Not even gonna bother making a comment except to mute of course.
Well that sounds a bit desperate...
Not even gonna bother making a comment except to mute of course.
Let's start with... "Russia will never invade if you give up your nukes". Hmm... that seems to be going well...

Putin's limousine is 'hit by loud bang' in possible 'attack'
The car drove to safety with Russian president Putin unharmed but there have been multiple arrests from his security service - while other bodyguards have vanished.www.dailymail.co.uk
