DPD thank god, my depot is usually after 2pm so it is what it is. But thankfully it isn’t being delivered by DHL who were awful last year as their courier ‘ran out of time’ on the delivery day.

Great, I'm with DHL I think :D tracking from Apple order page goes to Syncreon, and then "Manage my delivery" does to a DHL page.
 
Even after having had an S8 with AOD in the past, I've never been bothered by my iPhones not having it. I would've given it a go since the iPhone now has it but when it's that bright, it'll just be something that gets disabled as soon as I get the phone set up.

Here's hoping we get some AOD customisation options in the future.

Yea, that's way too bright.

I've never had an iPhone so I'm not sure how sleep mode works, but if it's based on a set time it's still no good. I don't always sleep at the same time every night.
 
You can set it to come on at specific times, or just manually enable the sleep focus each time. It will turn AOD off if you put the phone face down, too. And presumably with any other method of covering the screen such as a flip case.

What chargers do everyone use for the iphone? I'm going from an s22 ultra to 14 pro max. I don't like anything with a 1mt lead (prefer 2-3mt or even wireless)....
 
Just cancelled my order on the 14 pro max. The reviews are all in, it’s a great phone but the lead is so incremental over the 13 pro max that is just isn’t really worth it. I wouldn’t mind having a play with that island thing but after a play I think I’ll be at a point where I’m not all too bothered by it.

Moving on to a £10 a month sim and saving a good £70 a month against the new phone for the next 2 years is a saving that I’d be silly to not consider given what’s going on at the moment with the cost of living, fuel costs etc.

The ultra watch on the other hand, now that’s an upgrade I can actually get behind. I can’t wait for that to arrive!
