It's all they have left now and the fact they keep telegraphing that they will use nukes, I think that reveals that it is just a threat, just like Judgement day for hitting Crimea was a threat and just like seeing things we have not seen before was a threat for helping Ukraine

If it was the Russian situation - Cry, worry about my family, panic, think about running away, think about my family not having me anymore, cry again, smoke a few cigs, have a bottle or two of wine, cry, have an existential crisis.
If it was here in Blighty - Cry, accept the situation and do my best, maybe they need a chef. I could do that.

An old tank, even one as obsolete as that is still a very lethal killing machine in the right hands. However, I think its very much a safe bet that its not going to get used properly and will go towards flooding the scrap iron market.

I was just thinking that, I know nothing about military equipment, but if you live in a village and are expecting an attack, the arrival of an old "clunker" tank or two would be enough to consider your next move, and it definitely wouldn't be to mock the age of the things. Sure beats them tipping up in Ladas... Doesn't matter if the shells come from state of the art machines or clunkers, if they land near enough you're just as dead.
 
Ukraine has no choice (mostly because they're already in control of rather large chunks of these regions) but to call their bluff because cowering and letting Russia see value in threatening nuclear attack every time they want something is a cost they/we cannot abide. The consequence of running away would mean Russia will just keep doing it as well as looking for new ways to test NATO if it proves feckless. If Russia uses a nuclear weapon then the anti-west narrative implodes and Russia's 'allies' will be forced into making a choice they didn't want to make.

Seen a couple of good video of ukraine army chefs cooking up a storm, reckon you'd be alright!

For Russia, a win is now holding crimea and the Eastern land corridor to crimea.

Whether they can even do that is anyone's guess at this point.

A large part of it is probably a gamble that winter prices will weaken the will of europe.

Tbh I don't think Ukraine have any plans to stop until they have those regions back. Including Crimea now.
 
In the context of Ukraine was just reading a post on YouTube about optics which could be used on the new XM5 rifle which can network with drones to basically give wallhack cheat like functionality...

Well that would be ironic considering how many Russian hackers there have been.

I did read somewhere that there had been a noticeable reduction of a certain very vocal crowd on CS: GO. Not sure how much truth was in it though!
