At what point has any of this war made any sense ? A page back and Russian soldiers are telling Russian recruits to bring their own tourniquets, sleeping bags & tampons for ***** sake, how does any of this make any sense lol

That's always the case - unless there's a need, or you're of value - sounds familiar with the UK immigration policy..
Almost certainly sabotaged deliberately, as acoustic signatures of explosions were picked up. Also would be extremely unlikely for three separate pipes to fail in similar locations so close together from anything else.
Because the pipelines are so big there's a lot of high pressure gas in there to escape. Unclear whether the Russians actually shut down their ends of the pipeline or not.

The pipeline may have been cut off from the Russian side. however, I wonder if the pipeline still requires to be pressurised? Or maybe wasn't cut off at the German side? I'm definitely curious to know more.
As already alluded to I suspect in the coming weeks/months we may see similar funny business happening on major undersea communication connections.
I mean the scene has already been set hasn't it? There was significant Russian activity seen in vicinity to multiple major undersea cables earlier in the year.
It is not a good idea to empty the pipeline for pressure, condensation and corrosion reasons. There is no way that the gas could cause an explosion without a heat source.
I suspect it was a statement from Russia. The EU has already been very clear that they will no longer buy Russian gas and it's a statement from Russia as a warning towards what they could do to other pipelines. They have damaged EU infrastructure without "damaging" the EU, if that makes some sense. Even if Russia claimed responsiblity, EU / NATO wouldn't retaliate.

Don't know how real this is, but interesting if true. An Ukrainian referendum for Lyiv to leave Ukraine and to become part of Poland and for the Ukrainians to get Polish citizenship.

Haha, since the invasion started the Russians have been claiming they had to enter Ukraine to stop Poland from annexing Ukraine
