Tories/righties need to admit they and their ideology have been a failure for 12 years and move on.

Apart from the fact that our lower levels of debt in both private and public put us in a position where we can do more fiscal.

UK has the second lowest ratio of public debt to GDP in the G7 at 88pc, lower than Canada (102pc), France (113pc), the US (126pc), Italy (151pc), and Japan (262pc).

I don't think they want to talk about the past 12 years, it's all about the future now innit!

Money in the bank - wiped. It doesn't exist as a tangible entity.
Pension - zero'd. It's based on money, which we know isn't a tangible entity.
Stocks and shares - nulled. You would need to sell for money, which we know isn't a tangible entity.

Quite simply put, you can't eat numbers, and numbers won't keep you warm

So the 1000 plus a day "irregular migrants" being ushered ashore at Dover are a positive to the economy, bringing cash and skills with them, and get straight into a productive role in English society, requiring no benefits and able to be self sufficient??

That's a truly incredible strawman you've managed to construct there, using not a single word from my own post which you quoted, except for your favorite "immigrant".

Check how the Social Housing stock was wiped out by Right-To-Buy, a Tory Policy started in late 79.

Now, unless there has been "1000 plus a day" pouring into the UK since 1979, they are very much NOT the issue here...

Yes it may take some of them a few weeks / months (even years) to get established, especially as a not insignificant number of those are fleeing warzones, or have been tortured, witness to torture and various other atrocities.

I truly fail to see how this is any different to someone "born and bred" here. There is absolutely NOTHING to say that because someone is born here they won't adopt a lifestyle of "I'm not going to work, benefits for me for life" anymore than an immigrant would.

This is just you, yet again clutching at straws trying to paint anyone who is not "born and bred British" as beneath you and somehow a "lower tier human"
Immigrants are not the cause of the shortage of Social Housing stock... Selling off vast chunks of Social Housing is the primary cause of that.

Stop trying to blame everyone else for the failings of past and present governments to address the problem.

The issue is not "Too many people", the issue is "Not enough Housing" - The very same issue that is causing house prices to be utterly unaffordable to most NOT ENOUGH HOUSING.

*edit* In fact when you look at places like Muther Tydvil in Wales, which for a long time was known as "The Benefit Capital of the UK" it could be very easy to say that in fact, it is those Born and Bred in the UK who are far more likely to be "sponging off the state" and never contributing anything to society, not the immigrants.

They did that with the police right? Made cuts and now claiming they increasing officers during their reign when all they doing is trying to recover the cuts they made.
They'd best hurry up, they'll be needing those riot police soon at this rate.

Country is been run like a run down factory, as long as it keeps profits coming in for the wealthy, and workers paying to pay their mortgages, tenants to fill the landlords houses, it will keep been run in the same way.

The immigration scam has worked for decades, they so convenient to blame for what is essentially bad governance of failing to invest in growing communities, more roads, more houses, more schools, more hospitals, libraries etc.

At what point will people actually get out on the street.
It can't be that far away?

probably never, the population in general have been heavilly brainwashed over the last 12 years, plus the class wars the Tories are running by demonising unions and people like Mick Lynch by calling them "Barons", "Ludites" and any other derogatory terms they can drag up to invoke some emotional base from their rightwing lap dog fanboi's, means there is likely little to no real stomach for the people to go full mental like in the poll tax days.

As someone said earlier, I think we are cooked now. The game is already in play and it's got 2 years untill we can start another one, by which time this country will probably be a smoking wreck.

Inevitably there is going to be spending cuts happening everywhere. Tough times

what are they going to cut. Everything is at the bone already, I suppose we can move bin collections to once every 6 months, that might save some money................. plus people won't starve as the mass increase in rats will provide plenty of food. Just need to dig out Baldricks recipie for rat au vin.

You are basically saying currency is pointless. We'd still be in the dark ages without currency you absolute dingbat.
