If Ukraine gets to position where they are going to take over Crimea I suspect Putin will have been long gone before then.

I hope Ukraine doesn't just let the Russians flee, they need all the prisoners they can get. Hopefully one of them can be one day be exchanged for my wife's uncle who we thought had been killed in Kherson but was taken prisonor and being held in a detention center in Crimea.

Just seen on the map Kreminna has a very important railway hub running into Severodonetsk, take that and all the blood and sacrifcies Russia put into capturing they part of Luhansk will have been for nothing (reported Russia lost 5k to 11k men taking that one city).
 
Im guessin Vlad the Impaler will set off 2 or more tactical nukes on pseudo-russian (ukrainian) land in the next fortnight. Hopefully im wrong.

Well he's losing terrority he's just claimed in now Russia so we probably won't have wait long to see what his response is. My guess is it will be more retaliatory strikes against defenseless civilians or burning down another settlement with white phosphorus, that's been his level so far that not to say he can't or won't raise it though.

I think Galeev is right that Putin is desperate for NATO to push his **** in at this point so he can use the loss of 'Russian land' by NATO (the US in reality) as a means to maintain power. It's his only way out now.

If that happens the gloves come off the world - China/India/Pakistan use them in border disputes - Israel vs Middle East (or Saudi vs Israel with their own Pakistan supplied ones)

Tbh looking at the things he's coming out with and the ever increasing levels of desperation he's resorting too I get the feeling he knows politically he's on a corner and the only way out for him is victory in Ukraine. IMO, anything less then ending the war with the current boarders will mean the end for Putin and he's Mafia crew. They might not even be enough given half of Donetsk is still under Ukrainian control.

Watched this program a little while ago which was interesting - on the one hand showed some lovely bits of humanity, but on the other hand gave a bit of a sense how deprived many people's lives are there.

I finally managed to watch this. As you say there were some brilliant parts of it and it seems like such a great community of creators and everything in between.
