Russian bloggers all day: Don't panic! After Putins speech they know we cannot lose, reinforcements have arrived and kicked Ukrainians out

Meanwhile in reality, getting Izium and Balakliia flashbacks: Hello darkness my old friend

They’re going to fail. They don’t have the resources or the logistics in place to sort it. How Putin plays this next will be interesting. Will he continue to mobilise more or decide to bring in the tactical nukes which would be admitting his armed force has failed.

It's difficult to predict but if Putin had always planned to use Nuclear weapons (tactical), why bother conscripting 300k people with all the mess that goes with it?

I keep thinking now is it even possible for Putin to lose this war as he will just keep throwing more and more men at it.. :(
Gone are the times when quantity over quality would win out, we’re now in a time where quality over quantity will win out, especially when that quantity is very poorly trained.

I think he's trying to reframe it into a NATO/Russia scenario because that can be sold as more of a reason for not achieving his aims than Ukraine kicking his butt.

He will lose when he either runs out of fighters or those fighters turn on the government and revolt! It looks like it's happening already but he has enough people to suppress it. Eventually, that ratio will change!

Maybe he believed that the idea of having to face another 300K, just as they thought they were winning would demorlise Ukraine and make them accept defeat. Or that knowing reserves were coming would put a halt on Ukrainian advances and make them dig in, ready to face the onslaught of old men with no equipment and training.

The mobilisation just seems to have made things worse for Russia though.

He's kind of right, who is it that's supplying Ukraine with all the weapons they're using to defend themselves? I'd expect it would be going Russia's way if it weren't for all the weapons Ukraine has received from NATO.

Edit: NATO aren't doing the fighting but the weapons are definitely helping!

I don't think even Putin has the power to compel much more of his population to their death. The more deaths of Russian troops the bigger the problem becomes back home. Eventually he'll be risking outright revolution if he continues on that path.

Some news from Liman:

Battle for #Liman : Report from "Russian Legion" battalion commander (BARS-13) Fomich: The battalion split up. Part of the battalion, which abandoned the encirclement at Drobyshevo, took new positions near #Liman in Kremennaya district. The task is the same as in Drobyshevo: not to let Ukrop surround #KrasnyLiman . This part of the battalion is reinforced with the mortar battalion, artillery and armored group. The other part is in reserve near #Liman . ▪️ Received mortar battalion for reinforcement. works of art as a whole. The task remains the same - do not allow the enemy to surround Liman. ▪️ In this direction, they have already done the main thing - for two weeks they held the significantly superior forces of Ukrop, not allowing them to close the encirclement of Krasny Liman from the north.

▪️ Reinforcements are on the way. Soon the Nazis will be "jazzed"

Ukrainian forces had already caught wind of the Russian counter-counter-offensive and cut off the 58th CAA in Kreminna - just noth of Severodonetsk and Lysyschansk. Fighting is ongoing in Kreminna and the Ukrainian troops laying siege to Lyman are secure for the moment.

Things are moving very fast as fresh reports including updated Rybar map shows Lyman as liberated
Yeah looks like Lyman fell today but with a Russian withdrawal rather than a bloodbath. Shortens the frontline for UA forces nicely and they've already got across the river.

Kremina next and onto Lysychansk and Sievierodonetsk?

If that blog post from the last page is true it sounds like a little from column A, a little from column B.
