Exactly, the shrapnel is there to injure. As far as I know the drone noise is really distinctive and not that silent.
Well the noise will also affect morale. It's like the Stuka in WW2 which had a whistle/wine as it dive bombed to weaken morale. Also the V1 in WW2 used to terrify people once they heard the engine cut out.

The height these drones are flying at I very much doubt they will be un-noticeable.
The video I mentioned earlier the two guys were in an abandoned building with the roof missing so remote and nowhere near other activity, they would have heard the drone if it was obvious, they did not and continued to blow each other before the munition gets ejected and its shrapnel takes them both out and you can see one guy with his pants down lol.

He should do if he refuses to fight in a war because it is genocide and based upon a pack of cynical lies.
Again that's another [but this war bad] argument. We all know this war bad...

There are international legal precedents, for example the Canadians gave refuge to American men conscripted to fight in the Vietnam War. Sweden also gave political asylum to US draft dodgers during the Vietnam War. Or is it just a case of "my country right or wrong" with you?

Well, none of those are my country, I'm just pointing out the reality of the situation to you, that some countries chose to do something in the past doesn't imply that other countries are obliged to make that choice.

Video covering the Russian tank reserves situation:

Overall some good details but I think the author of the video underestimates how many tanks were put back into service between his original number (the long standing appraisal of Russia's active tank numbers) and the start of the invasion - Russia used a certain amount of deception to build up hardware forward staged over the 1-2 years prior to the invasion bringing T-80s back into service to cycle out T-72s from active service elsewhere to use in Ukraine, etc. etc. so the assessment of Russia having lost about half of their previously active tank force is not fully accurate.

Likewise I think they underestimate how much Russia has pulled from the old, not-good, stock first - getting maybe 1 serviceable tank out of several older ones - as can be seen in the satellite images a large amount of not-good tanks, many of them little more than rusting away hulks, have vanished.

Overall though does give a fairly good picture of how long Russia can keep up losses - and that they still have a significant number of tanks which can be serviced back into active duty - even taking into account that some of those tanks will have to be cannibalised to get others fully equipped, etc.
