Do they realise that the west is not intimidated by them? They've struggled against Ukraine for goodness sake. They have revealed their hand as one of the biggest paper tigers ever.

I mean the options are they lose embarrassingly in a conventional war or we all die in Nuclear oblivion (and judging by the rates of depression all over the world, most won't be bothered :p).

But you claim they have lost the war?

What does winning look like then? Maybe we should remove them from Swift and sanction some more, that went really well the first time round.

They are handling Ukraine so well so why not kick off a vastly bigger military with more than a magnitude higher defence spending. :cry:

Option 1)
"We have achieved what we want, in liberating the donbas and creating a land-bridge to crimea, bringing pro-russian areas of ukraine in to mother russia, our operation henceforth will be a purely defensive operation to hold our land and reinforce it."

Option 2)
"We are going to full scale war, and are calling up all fighting age men"
