The Liverpool Club Thread. **No Spoilers**

Thought he was pretty good last night, other than the obvious caveat. Granted Rangers were quite poor.

He puts in the effort and has always been good, but clearly there's an adjustment period to our style of football and his touch needs improving.

I expect he won't start against Arsenal or City but will be used as a sub for the final 30 minutes to wreak havoc. He'll probably start against Rangers again next week.

FFS... Is this bad luck ever going to end?

Are we able to cancel the deal, not much point really in him being here at all if its going to be spring before he is available

I'm sure there's a termination clause in the contract, and we must have insured against a long term injury. We can offload him easily if we choose to.

Bad luck would be signing a player that's never injured only for him to get injured.

This is the result of a transfer policy that involves taking a risk on players with dodgy injury records and hoping they don't immediately snap.

The only way Arthur even passed his medical was by borrowing someone's prosthetic legs.

He was a last minute deal to cover a spate of injuries in midfield. With most back or very close to being back he was hardly going to feature and thanks to the World Cup, we've got barely a months worth of football until the January transfer window. It's really not something to get worked up over.

Liverpool overtaken arsenal for having more crocked players than available

Did we secretly give liverpool our pysios and doctors. Oxlade was the catalyst

Yeah but it's annoying that this keeps happening again and again. I'm not even sure we'll be in the market for a midfielder in January.

Ox was decent until that horrible knee injury.

I really hope it's not serious for Diaz. He's been our best player so far. It didn't look good though so I'm expecting to hear some very bad news tomorrow.

Fear the worst for Diaz :( Massive loss for us. He's been the one shining light in a dire season so far.

Our big problems are definitely in midfield where players have gotten old and injury prone and not been replaced.

Top four is getting more and more unlikely and the owners failing to dip their hands in their pockets is the main reason.

The only thing that gives me hope is his spotless injury record throughout his career, the guy is never injured. He's made out of good stuff so fingers crossed.

If liverpool dont get top four this season which is unlikely can see bellingham going elsewhere

Im sure arteta would like him

On the plus side this is the last season we'll need top 4 to get into champions league. After 2024 there are spots for historically successful teams who don't qualify, lol.
