Well I was going to watch this on the later replay but with the red flags the live broadcast just carried on it would seem.

I tune in at 9:30 for highlights only to see podium shots and all the results

Hopefully the other teams can close the gap and up their game as this feels like it could be domination for a few years again.

Article 6.5 of the 2022 F1 Sporting Regulations:

The wording of that is so opaque. "Suspended...and cannot be resumed" would mean no racing at all so points (a) to (f) couldn't happen. What do they count as suspended cannot be resumed?

Edit - realised I'm being thick. So this rule is talking about the race has been running for 'x' time and then can't be restarted. They just don't differentiate what happens if it stops within, say, 5 laps of the start and then restarts.

I was yelling to switch to the Alonso & Vettel battle - you could see on the live timing Alonso was closing the gap very fast. Instead we watched a slow motion reply of Leclerc going off

Yeah, there's a single feed controlled by a director that works for F1. Channels can add some of their own stuff, but most of it comes direct from F1.

I'd argue it was better when the host broadcasters did it and supplied the feed to F1, there were some dire ones but at least there were also some good ones!
The current direction is poor

I do feel slightly sorry for Max. He’d probably like to just win a title without any third party interference. Like cross the line, know you’ve won, listen to Horner gush about how great you are, grab your trophy and job done.
