It’s weird as it is not the RB have made a legal challenge over the wording. It’s the FIA trying to interpret their own rules….

It could explain why the graphics were quoting full race points during the event. I just assumed (maybe wrongly) the graphics person didn’t know the rules.

It's rumoured Red Bull and Aston Martin broke the cost cap rules last season.

The FIA deferred making announcements about the extent of it and any potential punishment until tomorrow.

Even seeing a story on Reddit that Max crossed the line with 2 seconds remaining so there should have been an extra lap. There really is no clarity in F1.
