China looking on gleefully as it 'weakens the west' by pumping so much resource into Ukraine. Luckily they're closer to China than us so could be beneficial long term!
Honestly West will be stronger. Old stocks replaced, weakness in tactics and training principles ironed out etc. Yes it may be a few years to restock but generally the west actually better for it.

UK MOD outfitting all the Ukrainians trained in the UK with Cold Weather stuff before they head back, being treated just like they were members of the UK Armed Forces rather than foreigners, is good to see even if completely unsustainable into the future -

Who needs enemies when you have Wagner for friends. They went full hammer time on one of their own. Guess it still helps Ukraine but pro-tip, stay in prison!

Their later post explaining to people why it's perfectly acceptable to bludgeon one of your own to death in a war should give people chills -

Exactly, the US isn’t stupid. Give them your old stock, replace with new equipment whilst using your old stock to severely impact several of your rivals. It’s also a great real world testing ground, provides more experience that can be fed back and doesn’t impact the wests personnel directly.

With Kherson's western territory liberated, southern part of the Kherson region and even northern Crimea is now within artillery range of Ukraine's Himars systems.
The smallest blue circle on the map shows the estimated range of the GMLRS missiles.

The river makes a great defensive line whilst regrouping NE and coming round from the north. I guess we might see that in the spring. At least Ukraine can now focus much of their equipment on the remaining territory, where as previously so much was out of range.

I dont think they intend on slowing down, they have a lot of momentum and Russia is on the back foot, now would be the perfect time to reposition forces and push. If the lines go largely static over winter, Ukraine loses the momentum, Russia has time to reinforce and dig in further. Thats exactly what Ukraine does not want. There will indeed be a small lull in the major offensives, whilst forces reposition. However, I dont think were going to see much letup. This winter will be dark bloody and grim for both sides I think. However as long as Ukraine see's progress and gains the dark days will be worth it.

If Russia's troops are lacking in cold-weather logistics and equipment while Ukrainian forces are well equipped and supplied, the counteroffensive should not stop during the winter.

Yes and with Kherson city and the west bank working as a strong natural defense for Ukraine, Russia must have finally given up on the idea of taking Odessa (and linking up to Transnistria), and cutting Ukraine entirely off from the Black Sea.

Anyone else worried if Ukraine push for Crimea? Russia have 'claimed' it for ages so think they could be extremely annoyed...more so than their recent 'claims'.
