Russia denies Poland 'strike', alleging claims are 'deliberate provocation'

We've had some words from the Russian defence ministry after claims emerged that a Russian missile struck a Polish village, killing two.
Moscow claimed statements in the Polish media are "a deliberate provocation with the aim of escalating the situation," the Interfax news agency reports.
It adds that "no strikes against targets near the Ukrainian-Polish border have been carried out by Russian weapons."
Like always not Russia foult. At this moment in time it's security meeting in Poland and investigation are ongoing.

Best way of cramming a family of 5 under the stairs? Just enough room for a vacuum and a shoe rack. Any help greatly appreciated.

Under the stairs won’t protect you, your best bet now would be to dig up your flower beds and lie in them, cover yourself with soil, which will protect you from the inferno due to it being a particularly wet spell at the moment. For added protection, you could put some tin foil over the top of the soil to reflect any heat for particularly big bombs that might be more toasty

if they use the same chips and needed them why not? you know they reprogrammed the chips right?

I don't know actually no one really does. It was mainly rumours.

But from my understanding of most of these chips they are not reprogramable easily. They are generally mass manufactured and with hard firmware thats not designed to be rewritten but quite generic and can fulfil many purposes.

Anyway as it seems to have escaped you, it was a joke.

Wooooosh!

Right im going down to my bunker. Can somebody please keep me updated via morse code?

I don't think this one minor incident will trigger article 5, but there will be consequences.
I'd hardly call a missile strike on a NATO country 'minor' but I doubt we will be going all in because of it.
If it's some bad Russian targetting someone somewhere will be getting their fingernails out later I exxpect.

Whilst I don't wish to down-play it, it's fairly minor in the scheme of things, especially compared to the number of lives this war has already claimed.

If Russia gets away with it this time, I doubt they will get away with it again. Their best bet would be to stop lobbing missiles anywhere near a NATO country. NATO is not going to want to go in, but it can't ignore it.
They probably won't invoke article 5 over this, but missiles landing in Poland could easily warrant it. There has to be a response, that's the whole point of NATO.
