Needs another 500 off it
Yep, that was my comment on the ocuk video featuring @8pack. £799 is the correct price for the 4080. NVIDIA have back their self into a corner unfortunately. Out of touch still using monolithic dies, and using an expensive 4nm node.Let me know if it gets around £750-£800 thanks
That's still 200 notes too expensive, frankly.Let me know if it gets around £750-£800 thanks

Your right there, it probably should have been £100-150 more expensiveTrue, but the 3080 shouldn't have been £650.

water isn't wet
Water shouldn't be wet either but guess what.....
I'm sure if Nvidia could have seen 2 years into the future they would have priced the 3090 at 3K and the 3080 @2.7k. Then people would have been cheering for a 1.2k+ 4080 and 1.6k 4090
Are you seeing much improvement over your previous build? Read back a few pages and saw you picked up the 7950x! I'm waiting for my OC order update to send my case and RAM to build mine. So much for 24 hr delivery...
To be honest, right now, I don't see that much of a difference. You could argue from my previous system for what I play and do, I did not really need to upgrade. But I can't help myself, lol. Would like a new GPU next, but waiting for the new AMD cards to hit to see what they offer.
