I did a quick dual-wash today (both cars at once :( ) to get rid of the majority of crap. I also noticed the weather seems to have stripped my car of any protection as there is zero beading so planned to whack some AG Rapid Ceramic on as it says you can use it wet. Unfortunately it must have been marginally too cold so the Rapid Ceramic went on... odd. The paint doesn't feel glass smooth and you can see wipe marks.

I'll buff it over with some quick detailer; any recommendations to go over this with something else? Need ma beads :(

maybe IPA to get rid of most of it, before trying again ?

did you clay it before protection ?

What is IPA?

Yeah its last wash was a full clay/polish/rapid ceramic. The PUG on the other hand has never been washed so whatever it left the factory with.
 
Did interior, inner door bits, boot, engine etc today. Will steam clean the engine come spring, although it’s kept surprisingly good. At some point it could do with some good paint treatment, probably in the spring.

Try leveling it with a damp microfibre, is it a dark coloured car? These spray sealants can be a pita to apply to dark cars. The guy who runs the Epic detailing channel had this with the Turtle Wax ceramic spray sealant.

I would spray more on and level with a damp cloth as it'll be hard to level it if it has cured/the solvent carrier has evaporated.

I personally like Koch Chemie FSE, it's not ceramic and adds some protection but it makes my paint work look great, and gets rid of light water spotting.

Any recommendations for upholstery/alcantara cleaners? I usually use P&S Xpress interior cleaner, which I really like - but not sure how it will do on Alcantara?

Thanks. Ended up picking up Colourlock’s Alcantara and upholstery cleaner already. I use their leather stuff so am happy I ‘trust’ their stuff, but will stick the Raceglaze on the list for the future.
