Halfords have an Autobrite Bucket Kit for £36, but using the code xmas10 takes it down to £33.16. Apparently, if you don't have a Halfords account and sign up you get a £5 voucher as well which takes it down to £28.16.

I'd say there's much worse you can get for just over £30, especially with a bucket and grit guard even if they appear to be an unusual size on first glance. However, the only products from Autobrite I have tried so far as Purple Velvet Shampoo and Project 64 Gloss Enhancer, both of which get my approval. I have wanted to try Elegance and Top Gloss, but I don't need any more buckets... or products in general.

  • Classy tyre and rubber dressing
  • Crystal superior glass cleaner
  • Elegance luxurious detailing spray
  • Synthetic wool wash mitt
  • Foam tyre dressing applicator
  • 13L bucket
  • Grit guard with snap on lid
 
Talk to me about mouldy interiors...

My 306 GTi has leaking rear windows seals so I put it in the garage, and it has since starting growing stuff inside!

Any lasting advice that others have found successful? :)

That’s basically it. It takes a bit more effort to apply but there are YouTube videos showing the process, worth it in the end for the protection you get..
