Just washed by hand in the dark again...last weekends salt, grime, dirt & grit.....ready for another extended this time weekend of more of the same!! GardX ceramic coating helps a lot to remove the dirt as it does not stick for long but does not guard against the ever increasing stone chips!

Finally washed it.

I thought we still had a hosepipe ban however restrictions were lifted on 6th December!

Had a small window today so gave it a relatively quick clean mainly to remove all of the salt and winter grime that had accumulated.

Citrus Wash and Magifoam absolutely obliterated 95% of it!

not even a torch and no hose pipe ?
Live in a flat too far to run a hosepipe!!! Would love to be able to do that but I would need about 100ft which means low water pressure...there is a portable pro solution but its about £700 so will stick to the trusty buckets for now!!

Only gave it a quick 1 hour hand wash...today its almost as dirty again the roads are in a terrible state as this salt they use is everywhere still

Used good old Sonax BSD when drying the car yesterday after a quick wash. It still amazes me how good it beads with so little effort.

Used it on the windows too.
Yeah, but it's old now and isn't a super Si02-Fe-Au-H2S-Al-Co2 coating with apparent 89yrs protection and hardness above that of diamond (scientifically confirmed by YouTube payed for reviewers) :p

Completely agree though, BSD still my go to drying aid and BH foam is still my go to touchless/prewash. Detailing doesn't have to be full of over hyped and expensive products.

I'll have to try the new BH touchless once I've finished off the autofoam barrel in approximately 999,000 washes.

A detailer I was chatting to in his other job recommended Auto finesse ceramic foam. Maximum results and minimum effort.
