I know they’re all very reliable these days, but I want the most super reliable 512GB SATA SSD known to man.
Long story short: I’m putting a fresh Win 10 install on a 70 year old neighbour’s PC and I want the thing to run flawlessly for ever.

I'd just avoid the really bargain basement, possibly QLC stuff and make sure you get a reputable TLC-based drive, preferably with DRAM if it is SATA. I don't think you'll want to pay the premium for an MLC drive and even if you did, I'm not sure it'll help because it is not likely wear is what will kill the drive in this scenario.
