Very pleased with it, more so once I changed the Rainbow RGB LED display to something more subtle!

Regarding monitors... There's currently a **B Grade** MSI OPTIX 27" G273QF listed for £280, which seems great value. However, being B Grade is it worth it? They don't appear to list the reason for it being B Grade, and I'm a little hesitant in getting it as a result.

I wouldn't get b grade monitor just in case there's a dead pixel , but if you don't mind taking the risk then you can probably get it cheaper by making them an offer.

This is a good monitor but no gsync , if interested check out reviews.

Good point and even more so upon looking at the Gigabyte 27" M270 V2 for the same price and new.

I'll have a read of the reviews, but at first glance it appears to be more than suitable for my needs.

Have had a look at a few reviews on this monitor and something that was raised of one of them was that it uses an unconventional BGR subpixel layout which can result in that text appears somewhat blurry with noticeable red and blue subpixel fringing.

I already find that the on screen text in Windows and Word etc. not as sharp as I'm expecting and I'm worried that this would only add to this problem. It's strange as I only really notice this on the lighter back grounds, especially in Word, and much less so on darker ones e.g. OcUK Forum blue.

This led me to a possible alternative (Gigabyte 32" M32Q), admittedly larger in size and a little over I was looking budget wise, but a good monitor none the less, if not superior to the 27".

If you feel that the larger monitor is better suited than go for it but going to 32" the pixel density is less

Would Google 1440p 27" v 32" before you make your decision.

Looks like a good option with benefit of gysync and had a look on Rtings for review which wasn't to bad at that price. It's may be a case of splitting hairs to find the best.

My Monitor knowledge is somewhat limited but you could still post another thread in monitor section for further advice before you pull the trigger.
