Drain pipe on the other side of the wall is black and the guttering is all black, hence black.Did you not have any white conduit![]()
I have one, even though I don't have any 6E devices yetHas anyone here got a U6-Enterprise? How are you finding it, what sort of Wi-Fi speeds are you getting?
1.6Gbps duplex using a Samsung S23 phone. 1.4Gbps duplex using an Intel AX210 in an HP laptop. Utterly pointless but the ePeen is there if you need that sort of thing.Has anyone here got a U6-Enterprise? How are you finding it, what sort of Wi-Fi speeds are you getting?
Ha, cheers. Never realised the size of the thing! I’ll have a ponder.1.6Gbps duplex using a Samsung S23 phone. 1.4Gbps duplex using an Intel AX210 in an HP laptop. Utterly pointless but the ePeen is there if you need that sort of thing.
It’s MASSIVE though. probably half as big again as the HDNano and three times the weight. It weighs a kilo all-in vs 300g-ish for the HDNano.
Two cheapo netgear 8 ports.. everything else is unifi stuff.A broadcast storm will cripple most networks. Although RSTP should have blocked the loop. What switches?
I cancelled my order and added a U6 Enterprise. I blame @RSR TBH.
So you tested the speed of your internet connection? OK. Now run some file transfer tests between devices. Preferably in the same room as the access point, because 6GHz is shocking at penetrating walls. These things are meant to be used in huge open plan offices. The in-wall U6-IW Enterprise is the one for every room.
I have been desperately trying to explain WiFi6E since these things were first mooted but folks always want the latest and greatest.
Virgin.Who is your ISP?
Put the Modem in Router mode, connect directly to it with cable and see if the issue persists, if it does, it's likely to be related to congestion and/or power levels coming through the cable.Virgin.
Their service status shows no issues in our area.
