When they do, I will Feel sorry for you comrade. You think Russia are going to roll over and pull out?
A large number of them
are basically unstoppable. Your next weapon of mass destruction.
The Russians options are slowly turning into pull out or get rolled over. You think Russia are going to roll over and pull out?
Electronic counter-measures?Easily vulnerable to small arms fire and shrapnel, and can't deliver payloads fit to hurt hardened targets anyway.
I dunno, I think small drones will become a significant part of future warfare but I don't see them as the next überwaffen.
In some ways, this may be their peak. In the next war, they'll be something the enemy has planned and prepared for.
I suppose when you think about it when those missiles started testing the west would have been watching very carefully and planning how to stop them, well now we see that result.
It will **** Putin off big time if his super duper missiles can be shot down.
Despite easily being destroyed by a small arms round small drones are quite hard to hit with small arms manually fired, even the TB2 cruising over Kyiv was shot at for 10-15 minutes and eventually taken out with a missile.
The development of automated turrets like a mini C-RAM would quickly deal with them however.
Flak.
Russia doesn't think short term like the West, I doubt they are going anywhere anytime soon. You think Russia are going to roll over and pull out?
Literally everything points to them only thinking in the short term, that is the main folly of autocracy.Russia doesn't think short term like the West, I doubt they are going anywhere anytime soon.
Not willingly, at least.Russia doesn't think short term like the West, I doubt they are going anywhere anytime soon.
They didn't get much say in the matter in the Kharkiv offensive, they may not get much choice this year either.Russia doesn't think short term like the West, I doubt they are going anywhere anytime soon.

Grinding benefits the West more I suspect than the Russians want to admit.Depends how you look at it both have areas of lacking long term/broader picture thinking but Russia will more likely grind long term for a result, the West not so much.
Are C-RAM viable in largely populated areas ? Those bullets that don't hit the drones have to land somewhereIt boggles my mind there are no scaled down systems which operate like the C-RAM - many many years ago a friend of mine prototyped something similar to some of these airsoft turret projects for a uni course which could track and compute a firing solution on RC planes and drones, etc. even before drones were a thing like they are today.
While proximity fused frag is more effective even something like a triple barrel chaingun firing hot .22x with computer prediction can do the job.
You don't even need something the scale of
