Are C-RAM viable in largely populated areas ? Those bullets that don't hit the drones have to land somewhere
Depends a bit - the ammo fired from the bigger stuff like the C-RAM is fused to destroy itself minimising risk to those on the ground. For the most part though such systems wouldn't be used indiscriminately and mostly forward use in areas where there is already a risk or where the risk from the drone outweighs the risk presented by the bullets coming back down, etc.
