Because he hasn't got a chance. The press (understandably) just needed to hang onto something to doubt the end we all know is going to happen.

Alonso maybe; they both live for driving. Not saying Ham isn’t invested but Max and Alonso eat, sleep and breathe racing.

Would be better to see Russell, Norris or Charles get a chance in the RB (if not Alonso).

Almost non-stop overtaking, Alonso and Russell having great drives, Hamilton fighting back at the end, fight between the Red Bulls.

Max wins - 1/10. Gotta love these forums.

Until Max isn't there that 2nd seat will never be anyone who's actually going to be challenging Max properly, much more likely to see a Red Bull junior or Ricciardo in there than anyone decent sadly

Doesn’t make sense for a team to buy another top tier driver anyway, especially when their #1 is the best possible option for them.
