This looks fantastic! Have you thought about some acoustic panels to help bring down reflections a little? I think it would tighten up the sound a lot.

Do a clap test. Both types haha if you hear echo when you clap, like it sounds when you're in a bathroom then need to look into acoustic panels. I think you'll be ok, maybe get some thick blackout curtains on the right

Finally found a PMC CB6i to match my PB1i, unfortunately it was the wrong colour but given their rarity I couldn't say no. For now I've wrapped it in an oak vinyl wrap, so it's less of an draw to the eye. Sounds fantastic now, the front array is beautifully balanced

If you wanted to treat the room (roomEQs do fantastic jobs IMO), get some GIK walnut or oak panels. They have ones which have a diffusor panel which still gives some natural reverb and doesn't deadn the sound.
I have about 8 GIK panels in my room, and 15 ceiling panels by the time I'm finished.
Ultimately with the panels, more is better so just get as many as you can get whilst it being cost efficient and still looking nice. Get them on ebay - GIK sell them loads for seconds/clearance.
Your ceiling reflections, I'd make some very thin panels to go inbetween the beams. but I reckon you won't need them as your floor is treated.
Before exploring room treatment though - I'd think carefully if you even want to go down that road. The room looks fantastic and you have plenty of lovely soft furnishings. The floor is well treated and as you live and decorate the room more over the years, you may end up naturally treating it anyway.
Room EQ is quite good - especially DIRAC - IMO for dealing with controlling bass etc and taming higher end frequencies.
what benefit have you seen with curtains? I've used curtains in my room and with measurements, they provided very little benefit. Proper panels IMO are the much better investment. Curtains are great for visual room treatment (e.g. blackvelvet/MVEL22/devore curtains) but for audio specifically, I find they're more snake oil than anything else. Very similar to curtaisn marketted to noise reduction for people who live on a busy road - not going tomake much difference compared to triple/quad glazing or proper sealing of the window or a wall.

Good system but that is massive open room is be looking at couple of 12" ported subs at least to two 15" subs
Yeah, when I built it, I was on a tight budget... but yeah I will be going two subs as can power two through the amp, all wiring is already in ready for the day i pull the trigger. Problem is, life and cars is sucking all my money at the minute!

Other than a speaker upgrade (bigger center, then matching mains to go with it) good enough for a while. Maybe add a 3 channel power amplifier to help out the Denon. Q Acoustics don't produce big center speakers though, just medium size MTM.

Yeah cheers man, yeah I do... we watched Blade 2 down there the other night.. just everything about it... however, I generally only go flicks now when watching iMax as tbh, I get a better experience at home now hahaha... so that's a downside and an upside... depends which way you look at it.
But yeah, come together nicely just need to finish little things now and odds and sods...

Then you in "great wisdom" then tells the OP he should spend The best part of upgrading to Nearly £18,000 worth of speakers
I fully expect you have not even heard this speaker set up, i doubt even more that you yourself could afford it. WTF do you think you are doing coming up with this sort of post time after time after time after time..............................you do know it makes you look the complete d**k head that you almost certainly are ?
