Yes. Him and his agent agreed terms in the hours following the 'deadline', then when he was due to fly up for the medical the agent stopped it, given the rumour he now stands to make 25 million if his client makes the switch to Chelsea you can see why we're currently where we are now, nearly 72 hours of 'Chelsea's new bid is coming, honest guv!'

Well the agent acts for Caicedo, he can't have put a stop on it without the player's approval. I don't think he's holding him hostage somewhere.

Not much we can do as a club.

We accepted the Liverpool offer, as per the deadline which was set. If the player doesn't want to agree terms, that's not really on Brighton.

The agents a known pillock by all accounts- probably why there's a significant sell on clause in our bid as Brighton know what will happen in a few years time given their dealings with him :cry:

Mbappe to stay at PSG and extend contract to 2025​

Kylian Mbappe will stay and play for PSG this season.
It is a big win for PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi after standoff with his star player.
But perhaps the biggest shift is Mbappe is now expected to extend PSG contract to 2025.
It would mean he cannot move to Real Madrid for nothing next summer.
Al-Khelaifi told PSG squad this morning: "Kylian is committed to PSG. Kylian is back".

And some people still think Real Madrid are going to get Haaland and Mbappe. I dread to think what an extension to his contract is going to cost them. Half the club? The boy has zero ambition.

Apart from making as much money as possible.

He's going to ruin his career, just hold out a year then head to Madrid. It's the ultimate in club football.
 
Jackie Harrison was on his way to Everton but appears to be going to Villa now. Another one bites the dust.

Edit; apparently Villa didn’t know he was injured for a few weeks so might be off to Everton after all :D
