To be fair. The explanation to red flag seems correct - too many cars aqua planing and on turn one as well. Can’t risk a car going into another in the barriers.

Yeah, they need to do away with proper wets and just commit to red flagging every wet race. It's not fair to pretend to us there's another way.

Well they want to save on tyre manufacturing/transport, getting rid of the extremes seems the way to do it.

Better than the WEC direction which was to bin the inters so it just forces red flags as everyone stays on slicks until that happens.

Exactly they'll all roll the dice on inters and risk not crashing cos why bother putting the right tyre on when you'll only get shafted if you do.

So problems with safety are F1s doing for producing tyres/cars which can't run in rain.
