Memory serves, even if it’s SC to begin they still do a standing start?
They can choose either, if its wet I bet it'll be a rolling start

It's not the wet tyres really though, they're decent enough tyres - the problem is more so that the inters are too capable. When the inters can manage 'a bit damp' all the way to 'this needs a red flag' then it doesn't matter what you do with the wets, they'll never see any meaningful use.Wasn't there some talk about Pirelli looking at producing wets that could actually be raced?
"Quite moist" and "noticably soggy"If we want two categories of wet tyres, they probably need to scrap 'wets' as we know them and try to make a 'damp inter' and a 'wet inter' to create a bit of performance difference.
Yeah, they could have just finished the race without stopping it.I echo what others have said, extreme wet's are a waste of rubber if all they do is red flag a race when it becomes wet enough to be using them in a race. I agree with the safety car for the removal of any crashed vehicles, but wait until it is clear enough to race properly, and don't waste racing laps behind a safety car or do a rolling start.
