Technically its Still Summer. Well till the 23rd Anyway.

Googey says its 1st of Sep and Mr Autumn should be stepping out onto the UK stage on this exact day, well most say 1st according to the meteorological calendar when searched "when does autumn officially start uk", Summer needs to vacate the limelight and do one and give poor old Autumn a chance to cool us down after the long hot summer some of us have had, he's had his time to shine.

hot here for ages, mid 20s at least, thats hot in my part of the UK well in my opinion mid 20s is too hot, yeah couple of wet weeks in mid July but May, June and August were what I'd say is hot for around here. What sort of temps did you have in London

Yep it's a hot week peaking at 25c and although a non lizard I am going to embrace it for a change as we have some good surf as well.
Just watching the river mist

Pretty much the same. Felt horrible to me, nothing like summer

You mean the 3 or 4 days of summer that we had back in June? Since then we’ve just been alternating between Autumn and monsoon season
Really only 4 warm days the whole summer or are you exaggerated a wee bit, I guess it depended where you were then and was a patchy summer for some.

Mid 20’s isn’t Hot even in this part of Lancashire, that’s normal. Hot is mid thirties which it was for a few days last year 38.3 shade temperature In the garden the day it hot 40 celcius down south.

TLDW we are still technically in the ice age, all ice ages are cyclical and have a termination event where heat spikes, we have accelerated that point of entering a termination event to where it may be now/in the near future, methane levels are rising as well and they don't really know why, so it's going to get warmer

It maybe low 20s this week. But bearing in mind, it goes dark at 8pm now, the temps will get cooler 5-6pm. Unlike the summer.
Not really. Just looking at the forecast for Tuesday - will hit a peak of 26C at 1600, then won’t drop below 20C until nearly 2200. That’s really not quick enough to cool the house down to sleep properly. It’s exactly as all the hot days this year so far have been. Peaking late afternoon.

I guess we have different scales of hot, my body hardly feels cold so maybe I'm very unique in this thinking but anything 20-25 to me is hot, 25-30 is very hot and 30-35 boiling hot 35+ hellishly hot
