It's too hot :(

I guess we have different scales of hot, my body hardly feels cold so maybe I'm very unique in this thinking but anything 20-25 to me is hot, 25-30 is very hot and 30-35 boiling hot 35+ hellishly hot
Cold tolerance is quite good also after commuting year round by motorbikE. Hasn’t done my fingers any good as I have no feeling at the tips, can take a tray out the over without feeling it burn
Think the heat tolerance comes from bike also, 30 celcius plus 104 celcius engine heat and full leathers, walking 10 miles in Greece everyday in low 40’s, we don’t use the Aircon either whilst away either. Also working nights when it’s hot I just seem to get and bed and fall asleep instantly.
Seem to have more energy in Summer. Hate Winter not Because of the cold but because I barely see daylight for more than a hour through December and January and take Vitamin D tablets when the clocks go back till March.

mid 30s is dangerous imo yes I find 20s hot

It is for some for sure, all out bodies behave differently in heat I guess, watched the other night a Levison Wood documentary walking the nile and this guy only 39 walked a part of it with him in 45degrees with water but sadly collapsed with heat stroke and 30 mins later had died, it just happened so quick, really shocked me how easy it can be to overheat.

Oh yeah the dark days are grim I'll agree there, perfect time for me to get dark would be around 8.30, them nights when it starts getting dark 4ish are grim, but I guess thankfully not as grim as Iceland, with some days just 4 hours of daylight and then days when the sun doesn't set at all, that would take some getting used to.

For me though I have so little energy in summer, just feel drained most of it, the heat somehow zaps my energy, I feel more upbeat when its cooler lol, strange how it has the opposite effect.

My pic is virtually the same as yesterday so I won't bother! Feels very hot after climbing to my veiw point and am dripping sweat ,I retract my statement about embracing it !!!
I only have my winter wetsuit and I doubt I will go in with just budgie smugglers on ,even if this would be a massive treat for the woman of Polzeath

I'm off Monday and it's looking nice.
Hasn't been that hot since June!

Spent the last 13 hours outside. I just can't explain how positive the big fireball in the sky makes me feel.
And I just can’t explain how negative it makes me feel. Brings out all the feral kids (and sometimes adults) shouting and screaming, booting footballs against fences every 5 seconds. There’s no escape from the heat as it builds up inside the house even with all the blinds and curtains closed, making sleep impossible. So not only can’t you sleep, you can’t enjoy the waking moments either.

Yes but you’ll have 7 months or so with dismal cold weather so I’m not sure why you’re moaning

yes the sun makes me irritable but as its getting lower in the sky i start to enjoy it

I'd actually agree with you, sun can be great in September when its around 20ish, but do think this time its going to be very humid as lets face it 30degrees in September is far above the 18 average so its not going to be refreshing sunshine but heavy humid air hanging around for days it seems.

Loving the weather again now it's beautifully sunny.

Just a slight chill in the air which is a perfect breeze every now and then.

It couldn't be more welcome after the dismally rubbish summer.

Being outside when it's decent weather makes all the difference to me and I absolutely love it.

Yes this week will be bad especially in the distillery if the stills are on, probably 30c plus ,the house will be better as I am west facing and patio doors

It's so nice. This evening we are taking a picnic to the mountain side, tomorrow I'm going out on my kayak. Yesterday I sat in the garden with the hens.

Summer started great, then it turned to. Autumn. So this mini last gasp summer is much welcomed!

Work is going to be hideous this week. It’s going to be lovely dripping with sweat as I meet a load of our customers for the first time. Really humid today too.
