The Big Photographic Deals thread

Yeah i have been waiting for my Lebanon deal to fall through and be cancelled but it hasnt so far. And the renewal price for next year, although its a 25%+ increase, I will be more than happy with if its still alive :)
Yep I sort of half hoped that if Adobe were to “sort out” all the Lebanon accounts that they’d have done it before Prime Day. As it is I’ll just carry on and (if it does get cancelled) hope that I don’t have too long a wait until the Black Friday deal.

This is a really solid deal for Panasonics latest FF camera with 50 and 85mm F1.8 lenses.

£1399 with the code.

If you plan to get those 2 items, yes. If not, then no. Not even if you plan to get one then sell one. Like keep the body and sell the lens. You are just end up paying similar amount for the body.

Annual reminder to top up Lightroom/PS during Prime day. £107.

"Creative Cloud Photography Plan 1TB is a different subscription than Creative Cloud Photography Plan 20GB. Purchasing this will NOT extend or renew Creative Cloud Photography Plan 20GB subscription with Adobe"

You can't stack anymore. So use this to extend if you're near the end of your sub or expired.

That's annoying.

I wasn’t aware of this, that is vexing to say the least.
I had all but made the decision to finish with Adobe once my current 20gb stack expires soon, so this pretty much seals the decision.
I’ve been gradually moving back to Capture One (albeit version 22) and I’ve really enjoyed using it - much more than Lightroom. I think the lack of AI features is actually quite liberating. I very much enjoy the post processing experience and in hindsight I think Adobe and their AI tools (while superb) have taken that feeling away slightly.

Can't stack sucks, however, if they do the same price drop every year, then you just have to get 1 every year to extend. No difference really.

What a surprise Adobe stuffing their customers. I guy from our club contacted Adobe when they wanted £14.99 a month. He got a one off payment of £124 ( he still doesnt own it) Another guy wanted to finish his subscription and was told to pay well over £100 if he did it before the contract ended.
