I loved the round based wave format, was so good with friends. We used to have games that lasted 2 hours+ sometimes. Now they've made it so you have to play with other random squads, it's limited to 45 minutes-1 hour and it's just an open map walking around looting and killing zombies. So disappointing. Why change it?

Not sure, I've watched the gameplay footage on YouTube for those few people play that got to play the Zombies mode early access, but not sure when the full embargo is lifted

At least they've confirmed next year is a return to typical round based zombies, just another year of still playing Black Ops 3 zombie chronicals for now!

Not only that, if you wanted to noob tube on COD4, you had to use the iron sight.

Played COD4MW1 non stop until MW2 was released, a few months of that unbalanced nonsense and back to COD4 it was :)
 
Ill be getting it looks like xbox series x is the way to go this time round holds 120fps more consistent over the ps5 version.

I would do but it would require an ethernet cable to cross my room right down the middle and knowing my luck either myself or someone else would trip over it.
 
You can play it now change xbox to new zealand in settings and go to activision account basic info and change address to new zealand just google for a random address.
 
Will be picking it up on the way home form work. No doubt a huge patch to download too so will play Saturday. I preordered on Xbox and have to codes for the early access download but I want it on PS5 to play zombies with my work mates so will see if they will let me switcharoo at the shop when I pick it up.
 
I had MW2 for the PC.

I’m tempted to get MW3 for PS5, I do miss sofa gaming! What is MW like with a controller?

Also, what’s it like for player numbers? I understand it’s crossplay, but surely controlled players get disadvantaged against those on PC?

The aim assist advantage of controller outweighs the typical advantages of keyboard and mouse. This has been the case for at least a year now.
