Winter 2023/24 - It's FREEZING!

My big toes are the last thing that gets warm.

Mine are always itchy warm if you want to swap...

I used to buy that cooling powder for them.

I feel the cold in my face, hands and chest

Very cold out there this morning but a very dry cold so no sign of frost on the car or ground (but i didn't look too hard, ran back inside)

I adjusted the indoor temperature to 18 and it feels more comfortable to sleep now.

yeah my living room went to 11c ,just put heating on, small house/rooms soon warms up

I was going to say the same thing - we love our electric blanket, it costs pennys to run and we have it on a smart plug so it comes on at 9:30pm to start heating it before we get into bed.

We dont use it overnight, just to warm it up before getting in

Very hard frost overnight, and going to be freezing all day. I used to absolutely love this weather but I struggle now I'm older. Put a heavy blanket over my quilt last night and had the best nights sleep I've had for ages. My wife thinks I'm nuts.

My log burner has been on constantly the past week. It's so cold!

I've bought some heated socks and gloves. They have been a life changer!

It's cold here as well -4.7C last night. Frost on top of frost - frost not getting the sun yesterday.
I have had a electric blanket for years wrapped up on top of wardrobe - Got it out a month ago and it's magic. - It used to creep when you moved but now got new mattress cover and it doesn't do it anymore.
