it is worrying. Someone linked something on Twitter earlier the rise in temperature of 2023 compared to 2022. For such a rise it does beg what the next year is going to bring.

My parents have 2 freezers in their garage plus shelving with tins, packets etc. My mum moans that she struggles to put food in the freezers!

Rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain. Rain rain rain everything is utterly saturated and its so dark daytime its scarcely worth getting out of bed on sundays weather is supposed to be getting colder nearer xmas which probably means drier and for that I'm thankful

81-82? Seered into my memory not for the snow because there wasn't much but the cold it just went on and on -2c was the average daytime temperature never mind night

My wheelie bin blew over last night in the wind. The top bag fell out of the bin. Binmen emptied the bin but left the bag. Lazy sods.

Bit of a messy day today, not the sun I expected, was too hot then got mega sweaty and cold after climbing, think I need a better base layer rather than t-shirt

Not sure if its suitable for what you need but Decathlon do a base set for much cheapness and its decent (for kicking about the house anyways:

Definitely worth a purchase for cold low intensity days, I mentioned it to my ex and she recommended xbionics as she did the cape wrath trail in their gear, then I looked at the price...,.............
