******Official Star Citizen / Squadron 42 Thread******

Don't mind Jonney, he's drunk as usual (and editing to hide it ) .

FR-86 and at least a Crossfield are what you want. XL-1 if you really wanna spend the extra.
Stock Rhino repeaters are fine. Could go with deadbolts or AD4B gatlings if you can be bothered with re-arming.

Question as I haven't played in a while, Was Microtechs terrain/graphical tech upgraded for 3.20 like a few SC YouTubers showed or is that still a "Soon" type thing and only on the test server ?

I have been hovering over the buy button for a few days now, is this game worth starting? I have been looking for a freelancer type of game for ages I loved the space concept flying around and trading, salvaging fighting. I was looking forward to starfield but find it far more ground based.

It's not a complete game yet buddy, my advice would be to wait until a free fly event, they happen every few months. If you intend to solo though you'll have fun - but be missing out on the multicrew and fleet elements gameplay elements which are bags of fun. You can always organise to play with OCUKers though there's an increasing number playing :)

The reclaimer is mad

Myself and my friend are running it, we can do 10Mil in 60 mins,

Fracturing and disintegrating hammerheads,

I think the Alpha Primes are all metal, only rubber I can find is on the many analogue and hat switches.

Had to print out button mapping guide thing because there are way too many controls lol.

Drunk CIG dev at a bar citizen:

limited base building next patch (3.23, March)
Server meshing, also next patch...
CIG version of upscaling TSR, DLSS 2 and FSR 2, next patch.

*Hick*

Server meshing and DLSS2 would be nice but I don't see either of those coming until Pyro which I imagine is "Still another year away TM"

Any HOTAS setups that have zero amounts of that horrible rubberized coating ? It's the only reason I returned the Logitech X56, Felt horrible to touch.
Oddly I think only Logitech and Saitek (defunct now) used it. It also would fall apart over time and peel off.

Most others are simply plastic or metal / painted finishes.

Why are they doing their own thing instead if using the DLSS3 etc that is already out there and working wonders.

If the X56 came without the rubberized surface I would've kept it but it couldn't be cleaned and wore away very quickly.
