******Official Star Citizen / Squadron 42 Thread******

Well so far my experiance with these sticks has been terrible, ive spent several hours trying to get them set up with buzzzkillers binds and there just not working so im taking a break and ill come back to it later.

Plus the cables are not long enough so i cant use them from the sofa and they dont quite return to center so the ship drifts but im hoping i can fix that.

Was ok for me following his step by step guide. Did you also install the joy2key thing or whatever it was called? I had to restart my pc for that to work. Also there was one bit in game where what he wrote didn't seem to correlate, I'll have a look and see because the rest was straight forward.

Re your other comment. I tried left stick with no spring but was finding I had to second guess where neutral was. As the game has a binding for cruise control I am happy using it as is.

I find the most difficult thing on the right one where I always end up rolling (z axis) when I'm yawing (X axis) because of my posture I guess or just it twists quite easily.

I could add a massive deadzone and or turn down roll sensitivity loads.

I am not buying pedals as well, I don't think I'd have the coordination for it all. Bad enough with two lol.

I am going to have to tweak the bindings because a lot of them rely on a modifier button which is the button on the back of the stick and because of how I hold both of them, my fingers are never anywhere near it. Haven't had the patience to do it yet.

There's a subreddit for that "Starcitizen_trades" not endorsing it btw it's got a lot of scammers but you'd at least get a price.

Just keep in mind that "Golden Ticket" as a concept has changed, it was originally for those first 50K or so people who signed up or backed the game, but more recently it's been used as a way to get access to a special F8 ship purchase page. I'm guessing yours is the first one, the second is technically a "gold license", but he community is full of muppets who conflated the two.

On a side note I just disabled the E cores on my 13900K, Holy crap the performance boost is crazy, The game is smooth as butter now, I did a few A/B comparisons and the E cores introduce a LOT of stutter.

Ghost Hollow may be pretty uneventful these days, as most people are making far more money elsewhere and probably CBA to fight over 300K.
I went there with a mate recently and it was just us - apart from an NPC Cutty.

Yeah...... get a proper CPU, i don't know how anyone can be running Intel these days, there are better alternatives, ones with real cores. :p :D

Lolz XD

In all other games it's fine, I even see a boost with E cores enabled, Especially in rendering tasks but Star Citizen does not like them.

It does not like them because it actually uses them, Intel have been to CIG to try and sort it out.

You would find this more and more if games get more MT, that is if more games use more cores to feed the GPU rather than running background tasks.

Its why i would never buy one :) to me its like an RTX 970. its fine until you run in to that slow bit of .5GB VRam.

Is this worth it for £46000?

Do I get the full game?

Its not a DLC, no such thing as a DLC, you get the same game spending the $45 as you do spending $46,000.

Those packages exist for the same reason $50,000 Gaming PC's exist, to some people its pocket change and well if you're willing to spend it i'll sell you something for it.

£46k
tells you all you need to know about this, at this point.
I mean it's irrelevant for almost the whole community because you need to have spent thousands anyways to even the package. It just a completionist package like you'd get for DCS world or Train simulator. This just at a higher level.
