word of warning, configuring sticks is one of the reasons I sold mine. It can be painful due to the horrid menu system! I just didn't have the patience !

^ has a dual stick part which may help

Thanks pal, I've seen quite a few guides but I didn't just get them for Star Citizen. Hopefully should be okay

A bit more info about how server meshing went

Oh? Oh okay....without knowing it. as it should be i guess.
Indeed large step forward for that to be done and actually makes September seem realistic for it to come if that truly how tests are going. If this Friday goes well with Jump point even if it enter, load screen and turn up in the other system rather than flying through that will be impressive tbh as it means you transferring from one server to another as such.

Yeah, absolutely...

Can I get some help with control set up please guys?

So I've downloaded the Buzzkiller profile and installed it as per instructions and it works, except my flight controls are inverted. Push forward is pitch up - Roll left has me going right etc

I've gone into the control settings to check there, controls are not inverted by default, but even clicking to invert them doesn't change anything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you get Virpil ones, I forgot? You can change in game, there is an inversion option in the menus but I have a patch to do so can't tell you exactly where.
Or if using Vpc you can invert on there I believe

Edit. I see you've been in game already, that is odd. Did you get caught out with a seperate menu for each joystick? My joystick 2 is the right one so if I changed axis on Joy 1 it would affect my acceleration etc instead.

If you are having issues with reversed axis, you will have to manually invert them in the"ControlsMenu" underJoystick/Hotas 1and/orJoystick/Hotas 2. You will likely have to invert the Ship StrafeFwd/Back, Mining Throttle, Acceleration Limiter, and Speed Limiter. Also, any Fwd/Back movement forground vehicles, or EVA.

@Noxia I got a really good deal on VPC gear on the members market that was too good to pass up. I'll get Virpil in the future if I really get stuck in but for now I'm more than happy with the feel and build quality.

Yeah I was trying and failing to change controls in free fly mode... its been a long day and I was getting a bit stressed.

Didn't seem to be a separate menu issue, the controls all seem there just backwards

So DLSS2, FSR and TSR along with the clouds, ground fog and volumetric shadows arriving with 3.23.

I'm actually getting really good performance now even with the Volumetric clouds on very high, 1440P, 40 to 50, up from about lol 20 or less with the RTX 2070S.

The RX 7800 XT is a flumping power house, i love it, could have done with DLSS earlier tho, too late now..... :D

Just saw their volumetrics are getting updated for 3.23 or shortly after i.e clouds, Ground fog etc... tentative but still good news.

There is something i have noticed about the clouds on very high, they are very detailed, they are not just like a volumetric blob like you see in MS Flight sim, i'm not saying they look bak, they don't.

But in SC they have a lot of detail and structure, they have like wispy bits in them, something you don't see even with them on high, i would imagine they look even better on Very High at 4K and higher.

They look like what you see in the videos they make, or at least they start to, those videos are made in engine but i suspect they are rendered in 8K.

I hope they haven't reduced that detail to make them more performant.
