Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

If he got from Gumtree its a bit self inflicted
I doubt it as if it's Gumtree or FB, you would only do that in person and then surely you'd check the box?

I remember buying an iPhone and receiving a box with Sainsbury's cheddar in it. That was from Apple, so reasonably sure it was the delivery person who knew it was release day and had bought a batch of cheese to replace phones.

I just been reading that post of his and now it even more worrying if i will manage to be able to get a refund or replacement from the online retailer i bought it from
I already been in contact with the retailer, But the value is to high for the person i spoke too be able to do anything so i have to wait for someone higher up to contact me.

If it was from Amazon, you'll very likely have to do a section 75 (hopefully you paid by credit card) and sacrifice your account.

Wife hasn’t yet questioned why there’s a spare space

I know it's all in hindsight but I try and open anything of this value on the doorbell camera. Ie.. There is no way you could be trying to scam the retailer.

It would not be possible to open items as they get delivered as am at work 95% of the time when items come

I don't know why but the fact they filled it with Waitrose items makes it feel even more of a slap in the face.

Feel for you dude, I hope you manage to get your money back and the seller gets held to account somehow.
