I took a mission to find a missing person in a cave thinking that doesn't sound too hard except the cave is ******* massive and I've been wondering around for 20 minutes and I have no idea where this person is. I think I'm just going to abandon it. How the hell are you supposed to find someone in something so big?
I'd skip the cave missions. Sometimes they work, but most of the time they seem to bug out, or you get stuck on some geometry and can't leave the cave...

Did the latest phase of Operation Overdrive last night. Seemed pretty decent, the server performance was reasonable so the space fights were half decent as the enemies weren't just teleporting about. The mission at Kareah was carnage, think we had around 10 players in various groups, all charging around like nutters, plus loads of AI spawns. So many ships wedged onto the landing pads :D

Star Citizen Alpha Patch 3.23.0​

Alpha Patch 3.23.0 has been released to Evocati, and is now available to test! Patch should now show: VERSION 3.23.0-EPTU.9135813-9135518.

It is strongly recommended that players delete their USER folder for the Public client after patching, particularly if you start encountering any odd character graphical issues or crash on loading. The USER folder can be found (in default installations) at C:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizen\EPTU.

Characters in this new environment will be built from LTP data so items such as medpens, ammo, rentals, and refinery jobs will be lost.

Server Info: US Only - EPTU Channel - PU/AC - Replication Layer Enabled/Recovery Enabled
Starting aUEC: 15,000,000

The current build is under NDA (Talking about features and testing is allowed but no sharing of game video, screenshots, audio, files, or accounts outside of Evocati)
Please log out then back in on the issue council site to see the Evocati environment there. Please make sure to only select the Evocati 3.23 environment when creating IC reports while the builds are Evocati only

Please monitor etf-testing-chat in spectrum for updates and testing instructions.

Guy's they are really trying to push for a wider PTU release, but there are some things to iron out first....

(Wednesday) We currently have a new 3.23 build being tested for a release this afternoon to EPTU for Evocati. We plan on testing this for a period of time with the hopes of opening this build up to further waves. This build will also include an Engineering AC game mode playtest if all goes well.

It been in testing, unofficially for a while, it used to be in the settings, but they removed it because it didn't work, tho they have added and editable config file if you want to enable it for testing.

I have tried twice, both times it resulted in a black screen.
 
I've stayed true to my not buying anything stance but recently a ship has really grown on me. The Ares Inferno, and I love the sound of the chaingun thing. No idea how much it costs in-game but that's largely irrelevant as I have an net income of £0 due to never being able to finish contracts etc.
I know it's not the best at anything but I don't do meta chasing, and these things change anyways.
Yes I know I really need to tag along for a group event.

Sometimes i want to tag along to a random group especially when they're looking for people but then it gets abit time consuming.

Yeah this is the thing. Due to how flakey my attention span is, I wouldn't want to ruin something for others if I can't play as long.

Feel the same, i have this tendency to jump in and out of games in short bursts. I've not done too bad with SC since there are long periods of travel time i tend to spend that time researching stuff in peace lol.

100% this is why I never finish any. You don't have ADHD as well do you lol.

Oddly enough though, because of how immersive it is I don't really mind the slowness of getting to your ship etc. Think I need to just set myself some small goals and jot down my questions on here.

I've always thought i might have ADD since i do have some issues with focusing but then when im on something i really enjoy im laser focused. I do struggle at times but not always so i can't say for sure, never been tested either.

Haha on really long journeys i'll exit the cockpit and do some loot sorting, maybe go into my inventory to swap gear etc. I have a Mule which for the life of me i still cba to place into my ship as i have to visit a vehicle terminal every bloody time i log in.

I dont have a cockpit to exit lol. I hired a 600i and crashed that somewhere. Never even got cargo, couldn't find bloke in cave (apparently sometimes doesn't spawn) and npcs had laser point accuracy from ten miles away on shooty mission.
