Only Kidding.

I wish it was.

Just had a letter from pensions saying that now I am 80 I am entitled to an extra 25p a week.
When I was 18 that would buy a pack of three. Now i would be ashamed to put it in a charity box.

What a waste of resources.

25p to £25 is a massive difference though.
One will barely get you a carrier bag out of Tesco's.
The other is basically a takeaway meal.

extra 25p a week is an extra £12 a year?
I mean whats the point.

Both my parents got a little boost but its all gone due to their council tax going up by 400 odd, the car Tax going up £25 and so on....

The whole state pension idea is crazy, we have had 50 odd years of people enjoying retirement on the money from the younger gen, a generation that won't see a state pension themselves. How the younger gen are not on the streets rioting about this system is crazy,
