Ah, but as @katie279 would say, generation is what really matters ;)

I do agree efficiency is a better comparison, but it's still very much depends on the weather.
The other issue is that it generally rewards dead-south facing panels. Any panels further around than south-east or south-west and efficiency always suffers.
 
Yes, it clips to 3.6…..which is my inverter size, standard string inverter, no batteries and 4.8kw of panels
That's pretty good considering. With my 4.8kW facing south east a perfect day in June was 34.5kWh, so you probably lost less than 3kWh there in total.
 
Well cracker of a day full sun all day bar one small cloud dip a lovey bell and a new 37.70 Kwh record made on the house.
And the Diy system on the workshop made a nice 9Kwh as well i dont think the house system will do much better than today




System is East West
down in not so sunny Devon.
East 8 x 420w panels 45 deg pitch
West 10 x 420w panels 45 deg pitch
Givenergy Gen3 5kwh hybrid
2 x 9.5 battery's
