Been thinking of putting these on the Qashqai, wasn't originally intending to keep it so didn't bother putting anything special on it tyre wise, so interested what your impressions are.
Though if the weather isn't great I try and take the pickup instead but still.

They used to be for mountain bike tyres back when I did a lot of riding (may still be), can't say I've ever spoken to anyone that's fitted their car tyres. Take that as you will.
ASDA Tyres and Black Circles had them in my size — then I called a local fitter, and they price-matched BC.

I'd say mid-range but depends on which in the range you choose. I've had one or two in the past - for example many years ago I had the MA Z1 Victra.

Maybe because they're new, they don't have them in every size yet?
Might be worth calling your local tyre fitter and seeing if they can get them in.

Slightly above budget tyres (Taiwan) but okay for that category. In fact they have been known to put some premium tyres to shame in tests.

Need to replace all 4 tyres and got the hankook Kinergy 4S2 last weekend. Only have them for two days and already feel better ride and much quieter.
Also have another two options bridgestone all season 6 and maxxis all season. Don't want maxxis and bridgestone I have to order so ended up with hankook.

I switched the M2 Competition over to the Continental SportContact7 late last week and got to push on a bit in the dry last night for the first time since fitting. As expected from my previous experience with this tyre, they are absolutely excellent. They have noticeably improved the ride quality as well as they are definitely softer in the sidewall compared to the MPSS which came off.

They are seriously good, in any conditions. Best tyre I’ve owned. I can absolutely thrash it through standing water and they just don’t care, albeit sometimes accidentally. Although I have AWD they grip in absolutely any condition. They were an excellent buy.

Yup - even with north of 600bhp in the McLaren, there was rarely a loose moment at full throttle. Vs the PZeros that came off, night and day. The peak dry grip at optimal temperature for the compounds of the CSC7 vs MPSS (or PZero on the macca) isn't actually all that huge but that happens so rarely it doesn't matter. In 12-15c ambient temps, the amount of grip available is quite a lot higher.
The M2C is quite a bit less tame at the back despite being over 200bhp down on power, particularly during fast changes of direction and when crossing over the crown of a cambered road so a bit more discipline at the back is most welcome
