World first QD-OLED monitor from Dell and Samsung (34 inch Ultrawide 175hz)

Maybe all of these problems are because you run 144hz 10 bit instead of 8 bit frc 175hz........

 :p ;)

Personally wouldn't bother with anything else aside fromy maybe the G8 or MSIs new 34" model (same panel but some improvements overall)

Yea my replacement has an annoying fan curve and it doesn't sound smooth flowing, more like a tapping noise when it spins... F annoying lol. FW 204. My original wasn't anywhere near as bad.

Headphones is the cure!

I have open-backed headphones so they are not the cure :p

that's an easy fix ;)

Phillips has launched a 240Hz 5120x1440 49" QD OLED, priced at £945 on Amazon, loads of connections too and actually looks kinda cool, especially at that price

The ultrawide to get imo at that sub £1K price range.

Especially with it's unique additional features.

If you're happy with the limited vertical height anyway.

1440 high is fine, more width = more productivity!

I've fired off some emails to Phillips external relations to see if there's a chance they have review samples. Won't hold my breath but you never know!

Just like you should not expect half a dozen next day replacements :p:D

49" hard pass....

Max I want is 38"

32.9 aspect ratio doesn't look right either, it's almost too extreme where objects in the game world looks stretched, perhaps due to support having to be there.
