How much does a pint of beer cost where you live?

Struth, you'll be lucky to get a pint for under a fiver in my local Wetherspoons, unless it's with the Monday club jammie dodgers!

Mixed bag in my local. It's a Marston's pub. Pedigree is £4.30 a pint, Courage Directors is £4.50. Lager around the £4.30-4.50 mark, apart from Red Stripe which is £4 due to a deal they negotiated. But then Neck Oil IPA is £6. And sorry to any of you who like that stuff, but it's not worth that. You'd have to pay me money to drink it :p

My local 'Spoons price list (a fine establishment where the carpets aren't too sticky and the bogs are only a 10 foot ascent!):

Probably only been in there 3 times in four years. My current favourite lager, from a local brewery, is called Schiehallion (named after a Munro in Perthshire). Yet to try it on draught, but it's £1.85 for a 500ml bottle in Tesco. Much cheaper than if you buy it direct from the brewery for some reason.

Private clubs are the way to go now. Heineken £4.10, Guinness £4.26 a pint in my local IIRC.

The pub I usually drink in is £4.40 for a pint of ale but they do a loyalty scheme thingy and I like the place so don't mind the extra.

The pub near my work has started to do surge pricing so we are all boycotting it. Scumbags. I hate drinking uptown as it is and that sort of skullduggery is the final nail in the coffin for me. If I'm in London then Samuel Smith or Wetherspoons FTW. I am not paying £7+ a pint

It was £7.50 in Legoland! I don’t live there in case anyone thinks that… just visiting. I don’t know the prices where I live as I don’t get out that much.
