Seriously, if you're doing some food, 8 or 9 pints, add in some shorts, plus cab home, in a round of 4 you'll do £200 easy. If people go on the doubles it escalates pretty quickly too.Even at £10 a pint, that's 20 pints! Unless you move on to shorts, but still!
£4 ish for cask
£5-7 for keg
It's all craft ale in a local alehouse so no big brewery tasteless nonsense that attracts CAMRA members.
I'm a ale drinker but the local Weatherspoons in the Staffordshire Moorlands is a decent pub, not your usual spoons
£1.79 for Ruddles
£2.60 for Doombar
Can't complain at that..
Other pubs are mainly £4.50 for a decent ale
Taxi's and food.Even at £10 a pint, that's 20 pints! Unless you move on to shorts, but still!
Well a 'round' for me wouldn't normally include taxis and food, hence my shock at spending over £200 on drinks in a night.Taxi's and food.
