Cricket - The Hundred

The problem has been the clash with the Olympics. Now that’s over, we’ll be back to the cricket.

Yeah it has rather hasn't it. That coupled with getting rid of our Sky has meant I've hardly seen any matches this year. Last year it was on most evenings in our house

If that last ball had been with the men’s boundary, it wouldn’t have been over.

Thought this one was going to be a bit of a damp squib but shaping up to a decent finish.

Does make me laugh reading the BBC Cricket comments sections.....all those miserable sods angry at people for having fun.

I love test cricket, but I also really like the Hundred. Games are on at sensible times, in the quiet period in the summer when the football's off. I end up watching bits of most games as they're good to just stick on in the background.

Nice to see Jimmy bowling again :)

I should try and get to Trent Bridge tbh

I honestly think we must be watching something different. I think they're great. I can come in and see within a few seconds exactly what's going on.

When the first team bats, you get their runs scored on the left and the number of balls bowled on the right.

When the second team bats, you get their runs needed top left, the number of balls left on the right and the current score bottom left which occasionally switches to the target score and then back again.

In each case you get the batter on strike and the bowler name with their current figures along the bottom of the screen and also the number of wickets down is shown bottom right. The batter off strike is also shown with their figures.

Literally everything you need to know is there.

Another good match last night, still really happy how Sky are making all these free to watch.
I enjoyed your insightful observation. Thanks, keep the good work going.

Side note, I'm pleased that this season they've finally fixed that abysmal scoring display graphic from previous years, with the ambiguous vertical tracks up the side of the screen. Much more straightforward and less intrusive now.

I don't like the huge static blocks of colour watching on oled.
