Yeah, found the actual process way easier than anything they've done previously.

This was leagues ahead of the calamity of the PS5 launch back in 2020. I understand peoples frustration around the queue - but like if we were getting these things in person at store, even if the shop opens at 9am you should probably know to be there before anyway.

Also interesting to see that the PS5 Pro is still showing in stock, over 3 hours after it went live. Not sure that would have needed the queue if it wasn't alongside the 30th anniversary items.
 
Did anyone manage to get a ps5 pro anniversary edition bundle?

Managed to get a 30AE Dual sense controller but the ps5 pro bundles sold out by the time I got to the order page after waiting in the queue.

Could have ordered a PS5 Pro but if it’s just the standard model I’ll wait until the review , game updates and feedback are out before buying.

The 30AE ps5 pro bundle was really the only thing that compelled me to take a chance on pre-ordering it.

By the sounds of it you had to be in the first 5 minute group to get a chance at the Pro bundle.

My queue was only 15 minutes so by the time the page had loaded they were all gone.
 
I could have ordered the Anniversary console but not the bundle. Ordered a normal pro but not sure I will keep the order see what happens over next month.
 
Apparently the rainforest will be having more stock of the standard 30th controller going live on the 30th at 10am. According to the rainforest chat function...not sure how accurate this is.
 
So many of the PS5 Pro bundles on eBay at ridiculous prices. I know scalping/resellers is one of the downsides of modern online purchasing and technology but it's hard not to think Sony messed up selling these in some way.

Either there needed to be way more of these available, or a lottery as suggested.
 
It was inevitable the Pro would sell out on first launch day. I know it's getting blasted for being too expensive for what it is, but people will lap it up regardless. I think this will be a case of being difficult to get a hold of one in the lead up to Christmas.

I'm picking up a disc drive tomorrow from Currys.

Seems quite a few people out there that ordered are still awaiting confirmation email from reports here and elsewhere. Mine came through quickly at 10:31.
 
I was gonna say the same.. lol

I have Alan Wake 2 Physical on order ready to play when i get the console. :D I also have some great games already that can take advantage of the POWER!!! lol.
