Tempted by the HZD upgrade,

It was a game that never really made it on my 'must get' list but then they gave it away free at one point. Don't know if it was a lockdown treat or a Sony apology - I forget.

Anyway, it hung about for a good while on my PS4 and I finally got around to playing it. Absolutely. Loved. It.

Think I still have a tenner in credit kicking about so why not.
 
30th anniversary controller seems in stock at a UK high street store. Probably a competitor so won't say more. £69.99

Was in stock at the takeaway place as well for over 4 hours. They must have oversold, as stock only lasted half an hour at the other places. Not that i would buy from them as they send their stuff in a plastic bag, the controller packaging would be mashed.

I’ve been collecting points/stars/whatever on the PS app by playing the monthly games etc. Some of the ‘challenges’ you have to opt in to do. You get a lot of points for buying digital games too.

Just redeemed them for £30 psn credit.

I got enough for Balatro and a few others too. I like redeeming points for free games !

They very recently changed the ToS so that points expire after a year, so something to keep an eye on. And some people including me have lost the option to buy PSN credit.

Warranty replacement black controller arrived today.

Have to say, it may have taken a couple of weeks but the return has been a really easy and smooth process that cost me nothing.

Not sure if I can mention the shop, I don't think they're a competitor but still (not checked if ocuk sell PS5 controllers, I don't think they do?)

The people who still have the option can only buy £10 denominations, is that the same for you?

I'm hoping it's just a bug, as it makes the rewards worthless for me otherwise.

Treated myself to Lies of P in the Halloween psn sale - I've completed it twice on xbox but wanted to try the ps5 pro patched version and figured it would leave gp at some point and wanted it in my collection of shame
 
Still haven't managed to get a disc drive and the Pro arrives next week. What a joke.

ShopTo said mine was ready to be sent, and then the next morning enailed me to say it was a mistake. :o

That's why I'm not getting one on release, drives are out of stock in most places in my country and where there is stock left, they're being sold for 200% of the MSRP. They can go eff themselves, TBH:P I'll get the console when I'm able to not get scalped on a bloody drive, especially that they didn't even have the basic decency to include a stand.
